Online Ticket Sales SoftwareSell tickets online, anytimeYou can easily sell tickets online through your web site by linking to TicketU. In fact, as part of the setup process, our support team will customize the ticket sales pages to match the look of your own website, then provide you with the URL to add as a link from your site. Your TicketU page displays a list of all events for which you are currently selling tickets, or you can link directly to the ticket sales page for a specific event. You specify the dates and times to start and end ticket sales for each event. TicketU gives you the flexibility to choose which delivery methods you would like to offer: e-tickets, mail-order, or will-call. The e-ticket option enables purchasers to print their own tickets on plain paper using their own printer. The system will automatically generate a PDF document containing the images of the tickets. A link to this document will be displayed after the purchaser's payment has been authorized. A link will also be inserted in the e-mail receipt that is automatically sent to the purchaser. E-tickets are a very convenient fulfillment option and work well for many venues and events. However, in some cases, you may prefer for all patrons to have a ticket printed on ticket stock. If so, then you will want to choose the mail-order and/or will-call options. These options work with our box office management features so that your staff can process orders efficiently. These orders automatically appear on the Review Orders page for your box office staff. Industry-Leading SecurityThere are many safeguards built into TicketU. TicketU was the first ticketing software to be recognized by Visa to be compliant with the mandatory security requirements, known as the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS). PCI compliance is REQUIRED for any entity that handles cardholder information, and Visa publishes an up-to-date list of PCI-compliant service providers on its website. Click the link to make sure that your ticketing software is PCI-compliant. One of the other safeguards built into the TicketU ticketing system is a 10 minute time limit for a purchaser to complete a purchase. This prevents a malicious visitor from holding seats an indefinite time period without purchasing them. Other features for your protection include:
Online Ticket Sales - General AdmissionWhen the purchaser clicks on one of the events, TicketU allows them to specify the number of tickets they would like to buy.
Online Ticket Sales - Reserved SeatingWhen the purchaser clicks on one of the events, TicketU displays your seating chart, the list of sections, and the prices available for each section. This page makes it very easy for the purchaser to determine the prices and locations of available seats.
TicketU allows purchasers to choose their own seats. The system uses color-coding to differentiate between different types of seats. This can be used for different prices and/or for special seats such as those for disabled or hearing-impaired patrons. After a purchaser selects seats and clicks the Reserve Seats button, the system displays a list of the currently selected tickets. Like many other pages in the system, you may specify custom text to appear on this page. This page allows the purchaser to return to the previous ticket selection pages to choose more tickets.
